We believe in creating a personal experience with our clients.  Every player is different and we customize training to match learning and development styles. We have been blessed by a diverse client base that has allowed us to share our love and passion for softball and baseball.

Weekly training can only take an athlete so far. At The School, we educate our students on the importance of training on their own time when they are not with us. Shown above is a student who is working on his throwing in his garage.

A major emphasis of our training deals with confidence. We encourage players to celebrate success and acknowledge failure. Being able to express yourself as a player is important and so is identifying the source of failure to ultimately improve. One of those sources of expression, as our good friend Domingo Ayala would say, is to "pop the chain" after a homerun.

Testimonials:

The School and Coach Korey Krueger have taken our sons' game to the next level. Playing baseball since they were 5 years old, they have  NEVER had one coach make such a pivotal effect on their hitting stance, EV and accuracy.

Korey teaches in an atmosphere that is fun and casual, yet players are expected to put in the work while respecting the coach, the game and each other.

Best time and money we have ever invested in. The School lives up to its name and Korey has taken some really good players and elevated their game to a new level ,all while having some laughs along the way!

Thank you K.K.

We started working with Korey almost 2 years ago. We were looking for our child to gain some skill and knowledge of baseball. Korey has taught him that and so much more. Our son has gained skill, knowledge, self confidence, and learned how to be a better player and team mate. Korey keeps the lessons fun and exciting while teaching them focus and respect. Our sons love for the game has grown tremendously and we owe that to Korey.

My 13 year old son has been getting hitting lessons from Korey at The School for more than a year now.  We came to Korey at a time when my son's confidence at the plate was at an all time low.  Korey went to work immediately on the mental approach to hitting and building confidence.  As my son's confidence began to rise, the physical aspects of the swing and situational awareness became the focus.  My favorite coaching moments throughout the lessons have been discussions on what is considered a successful at bat and how that can change based on the situation.  Korey clearly loves working with the players.  He seems to have a personal relationship with every player that I see at The School. Korey's lesson has become my son's favorite night of the week.

I started playing for Korey in the fall of 2021. Almost immediately, I started seeing him twice a week to work on my swing and fielding. His guidance was like no other coaches I had. Korey has gone out of his way to help me learn game and become the best mental and physical player I can be. Playing in tournaments for him has been nothing but fun because we truly get to learn and play the best game out there. I have never had a coach care so much about me as an individual, and it really shows in his approach to coaching every day. I truly cannot express enough how much Korey has helped me and provided me with experiences I could only have dreamed about.

My daughter joined in the middle of last year’s season travel ball after we met with Coach Korey. She had her first practice with the team the next week and she had one of the best times in a long time that she had with the team everybody was welcoming and she felt like she was going to be able to grow with this team. The School has so many opportunities from explosion training to batting to fielding practices to preparing your child to play in college if that is what their dream is. She was grinning ear to ear after the first week and she has only grown from there with skills and friends. Coach Korey is great at explaining things in a way that can be broken down and understood and he sees that all of the players learn and sees things differently. Watching your child grow in such a brief time makes us so happy. The School 18U team help and support the younger teams and teach what they have learned in their experiences.

I have to say I am super-impressed with The School overall. I was very skeptical of club teams in general coming into your program. It always seems like it's just another dollar for most with inadequate training but with The School it's different. It's like a big family feel and you can see the passion you have for the game. So thank you for all you do!! You truly are making a difference!
